a serious writer, i stand in the corner like an owl with dark sunglasses on and i observe all. i'm very introverted and watch everything and make mental note of it. it may or may not crop up in a story. I document everything in photoraphs and words. I can't help it. I have photos and letters and emails and all sorts of codified things. I record my life. Maybe one day this will matter. I am pale. I am not from here or there. I am fine-boned but not frail. My eyes change color but are usually silver-green. I am about 5'6" in height. I wear what I want to wear. Some people, many, think I am eccentric (their word, not mine), but maybe they are boring? I don't judge or define people - so i don't know why they feel the need to fit me into a register of some kind when nobody really fits neatly into any register. I didn't fill out most of this form because i think it oversimplifies a lot - i can't be boiled down to which radio station i listen to (i listen to far too much Bob Dylan anyway so it wouldn't count), but you get the point. And where i'm from? That is interesting enough, but what does it say? My date of birth? I don't know that i'm from any "era" or that any of us are. I'm not trying to be difficult (tho i realize maybe i am), all i am saying is that you can't pigeonhole people so simply. As Dylan said: "I define nothing and nobody, and I hope... I accept chaos, though i'm not so sure it accepts me."
